Yesterday, I received the Secretary, Hon. Olupese Kayode and two other members, Hon. Kolawole Balogun and Elder Olofin Ahmed (aka Amen), of the Transition Committee for Akoko South East Local Government who have come to show their appreciation for their appointments. I urged the 3-man delegation led by Elder Olofin Ahmed to see their new appointments as calls to service.
They reaffirmed their confidence in our leadership and promised to work for the actualization of the electoral victory of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Later, the Transition Committee members, APC Ward Chairmen led by the Chairman of the Forum of Ward Chairmen, Mr. Adeyemi John former Councillors, party leaders across the local government area and retinue of aides accompanied us to Ifira-Akoko to celebrate the New Yam festival and Isowo Ajagba Youth Carnival with the people of Isowo quarters of Ifira-Akoko. Our train was received with pomp and pageantry. The frenzied and ecstatic crowd re-affirmed their total commitment to the victory of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 Governorship Elections as the shouts of ‘OdatiwaOdirorun’ rent the air.
