On this special occasion of Workers’ Day 2025, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the dedicated workers of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, to all Nigerian workers, and to the global workforce at large.
Today, we celebrate the tireless efforts, resilience, and sacrifices of workers who form the backbone of our economy and society. Your contributions are not only essential to the progress of our institutions and communities but also a reflection of the dignity and nobility of human labour.
I urge all of us to remain steadfast and even more committed to our duties. Let us continue to uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and service, especially at a time when governments at all levels are working earnestly to prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of workers.
