Dr. Edu who is on a working visit to Lagos State for the verification of the National Social Register has commended the Lagos State Government for beaming a light on the plights of citizens through the Lagos state ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty alleviation.
The Governor said we will continue to work with the Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation ministry and its minister as she embarks on a continuous verification of the National Social Register, as a prerequisite to the Conditional Cash Transfer scheme which seeks to target 15m households across the country under the Renewed Hope agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
