Today, I attended the event of the official presentation of the instrument of appointment and staff of office to the new Gbiri of Epinmi-Akoko, His Royal Highness Oba Ayodele Femi Idris (Ajiwo II), in Akoko South East Local Government. The presentation was done by Hon. Amidu Takuro on behalf of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the Epinmi Civic Centre.
The new Gbiri promised to work for the unity and progress of Epinmiland. Prominent sons and daughters of Epinmi-Akoko graced the occasion.
As part of our mobilization for the forthcoming governorship elections, the Chairman of the Forum of APC Ward Chairmen in Akoko South East, Mr. Adeyemi John today led a delegation to represent me at the meeting of the Executives of the _Odatiwa Women Initiative_ across the eleven wards in the Local Government to reaffirm my support for the women group at all times. They resolved to embark on an aggressive house-to-house campaign to ensure the victory of Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 Governorship Elections.
The _Odatiwa Women Initiative_ is a pet project of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Mrs. Seun Osamaye who has traversed the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State to sensitize the women as political activities hot up.
