Today, I arrived in Benue State alongside Mohamed Fall of the United Nations Systems to officially launch the Durable Solutions Initiative for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
We were warmly received by His Excellency, Governor Fr. Hyacinth Alia, whose commitment to addressing the plight of displaced persons is commendable.
This initiative marks a significant step towards sustainable recovery and reintegration for displaced communities in Benue. Together, with the support of stakeholders and partners, we aim to bring lasting peace, stability, and development to affected populations.
