Tinubu writes Senate To Confirm 22 Nominees For appointment

 

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, announced the list of the nominees in compliance with Section 2(1) of the Public Complaints Commission Establishment Act.

President Bola Tinubu has submitted the names of 22 nominees for appointment as Chairman and members of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) to the Nigerian Senate for consideration and confirmation.

 

The President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, announced the list of the nominees in compliance with Section 2(1) of the Public Complaints Commission Establishment Act.

The nominees are: Bashir Abubakar – Chairman (Kaduna), Mr. Ubong Uwah (Akwa-Ibom), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata (Kano), Prince Olavisade Akintade Charles (Ekiti), Abatcha Maaji (Borno), Faiola Olanrewaju Jimoh (Kwara), Dr. Achi Ezeora Christian (Ebonyi), James Ogaba Oche (Benue), Barr. Edith O. Okoli (Enugu), Adekunle Alao (Osun) and Barde Usman Shehu (Jigawa).

Others are, Maryam Dalhatu Abdulmalik (Adamawa), Barr. Ineye Ronke Binawari (Bayelsa), Dr. Owa E. Owa (Cross-River), Matthew Uduaghan (Delta), Bashir M. Isah (Katsina), Sama’il Salihu Bui (Kebbi), Mirakinyo O. Akinuye (Ogun), Hon. Nuhu Sabo (Taraba), Hassan Garba Katuzu (Yobe), Sani Akilu Idris (Kaduna) and Madukwe E.E. (Abia).

 

Akpabio stated, “The submission is in compliance with Section 2(1) of the Public Complaints Commission Establishment Act.”
