Chairman Owolabi Celebrates Victory With Well-Wishers
Top government functionaries and dignitaries from different walks of life converged at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Cavalry Parish, Ondo Province 7, Irun Akoko, Ondo State, on Sunday, April 27th, for a special thanksgiving service to celebrate the Chairman’s success and victory at the Ondo Local Government Election.
The Executive Chairman of Akoko North West Local Government, Hon. Esan Owolabi, expressed deep gratitude to God for His divine guidance and favor, as well as to the people of the local government for their unwavering support.
The Chairman pledged tireless dedication to the development and progress of Akoko North West Local Government.
Speaking during the thanksgiving service, Hon. Owolabi acknowledged God’s hand in guiding his political journey and life.
He dedicated his victory to Almighty God and the people of Akoko North West, specifically appreciating the BTO Political Dynasty in Akoko North West Federal Constituency for standing firmly by him and offering their continuous support.
In his sermon, the officiating zonal pastor of RCCG, pastor Peter Olabode emphasized that true victory comes only from God, not by human efforts.
Quoting Romans 13:1, the Pastor Olabode reminded the congregation that all authority is ordained by God and urged leaders to govern with humility and gratitude, recognizing their positions as divine assignments.
After the church service, a reception was held at the residence of the Chairman.
The thanksgiving session, led by the Chairman and joined by his immediate family members, the Vice Chairman, the Secretary to the Local Government, traditional ruler, Community chiefs, politicians, party faithful, and top government officials, was a joyful celebration of gratitude and renewed commitment to service.
