SENATOR UMAR TANKO AL-MAKURA A RALLYING POINT FOR UNITED APC:

Leadership of the National APC Support Groups for Al-Makura (NACASA) were earlier in the day on a courtesy to the Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.

The group led by Chief Nonso Ezedinma a former Special Adviser in the state were in the office to canvass support for the National Chairmanship bid of Distinguished Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura whom they described as the rallying point for a united party, a true Progressive, a party man and the most qualified for the job when zoned to the North Central geopolitical zone.

The State Chairman of the party, Dr. John Mamman and other members of the State Working Committee who were on ground to receive the delegation assured it of the Party’s continued support for Senator Al-Makura, describing the visit as home coming and their mission as a collective responsibility to every well meaning member of the party in the state given the unmatched track records and the sterling qualities of the former governor.

He further appealed to National Stakeholders of the party to consider zoning the Chairmanship to the North Central zone, and further micro zone to Nasarawa State given the strategic roles the state played in the formation of what we now have as APC.

Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura the former Governor of Nasarawa State and former Senator who represented Nasarawa South Senatorial district , has dedicated his life to serving humanity. A heroic politician and philanthropist, Almakura has made a significant impact in Nasarawa State and beyond.
