Sallah Wishes from Hon. Shola Olofin, Chairman, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
On this auspicious occasion of the Sallah celebration, I, Hon. Shola Olofin, Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, extend my heartfelt wishes to the entire Muslim Ummah across the globe, especially to all Muslims in Nigeria.
As we come to the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a month marked by fasting, prayers, reflection, and acts of charity, I take this moment to reflect on the enduring lessons of Ramadan. This blessed month has taught us the importance of patience, self-discipline, and empathy. It has reminded us to be more conscious of the needs of others and to strengthen our bond with Allah (SWT).
Ramadan is not merely a time of abstaining from food and drink; it is a spiritual journey that brings us closer to the teachings of Islam. The lessons learned during this period—such as humility, generosity, and love for one another—should remain with us long after the month has passed. I encourage every Muslim to continue abiding by the teachings that guided us during Ramadan and to live by the values of peace, tolerance, and respect that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) so beautifully embodied.
As we celebrate this blessed Sallah, let us remember to emulate the noble life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Let his example of compassion, kindness, and coexistence with people of all faiths be our guide. May we continue to live in peace, harmony, and mutual respect with people of all religious backgrounds, fostering unity and understanding in our communities.
I pray that this Sallah brings peace, joy, and prosperity to all Muslims in Nigeria and around the world. May your prayers be accepted, and may Allah (SWT) grant you success in all your endeavors. Let us celebrate with love, peace, and safety, ensuring that the spirit of Ramadan continues to shine in our hearts and actions.
Wishing you all a peaceful and safe Sallah celebration!
Hon. Shola Olofin
Chairman, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
