Reflecting On Yesterday’s Inspiring Moments
The final report of the 18-member Advisory Committee constituted to harmonize and finetune the reports generated from the needs assessment exercise conducted in Ondo North Senatorial District by the office of the SSA to the Governor on Community Engagement (Ondo North) was officially presented to His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State yesterday at the Governor’s Office, Alagbaka Akure. The Governor who lauded the initiative of the SSA, Hon. Bode Obanla, promised that the report would be incorporated into the state’s 2025 Appreciation Bill.
The Advisory Committee which was chaired by Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, member representing Ose/Owo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja delivered this report barely four weeks after its official inauguration. I was privileged to serve as Secretary to the Committee made up of eminent personalities drawn from across the six Local Government Areas in Ondo North.
I also met with Mr. Emidun Afolayan James who was at the Governor’s office in Alagbaka area of Akure to formally present the 18-seater Hummer bus he branded to support the electioneering campaigns of Governor Aiyedatiwa in Akoko South West Constituency I (Oka). Mr. Emidun Afolayan James who hails from Ward 2 (Ikanmu) in Akoko South West and was accompanied by Mr. Segun Omosola (aka Oba Lola) and APC Ward Chairmen from Oka.
