RECAP OF MY TODAY’S OUTINGS

Today, in honouring the invitation of Mr. Tosin Omoeko, the Personal Assistant to the immediate past Head of Service of Ondo State, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, I chaired the wedding reception ceremony between Divine Ehimomen Ibrahim and Blessing Olatunde Ayodele. The wedding ceremony had earlier been conducted at the House On The Rock Church situated opposite Government House, Alagbaka, Akure.

Later in the day, I joined other dignitaries across political divides at Lande Event Centre located opposite Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre, Ondo City for the reception of the burial of Late Madam Ajibola Akinboboye (nee Akinduro), the mother of the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi. The funeral outing service had earlier been held at Christ Apostolic Church Oke-Isegun DCC Headquarters, Yaba, Ondo.

I was accompanied to the two events in Akure and Ondo City by Mr. Olusegun Daniel Adurogboye, an Abuja-Based businessman; Engr. Oladipo Bamidele, a former APC Publicity Secretary and presently an Ex-Officio of the APC in Ondo West Local Government; Mr. Famuyiwa Samuel Kayode, a former Assistant Publicity Secretary of APC in Idanre Local Government, a State Delegate of the APC and at present, the Special Assistant to Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources, Sanitation and Hygiene; and Mr. Arowolo Olabimi, a Leader of APC in Ondo East Local Government.

Also, I was represented at the Fidau Prayer of the late Paramount Ruler of Oba-Akoko Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba (Alh.) Nurudeen Adeniyi Adegoroye I, the Oloba of Oba-Akoko who joined his ancestors earlier this year by two of my aides. The Fidau Prayer for the highly-reverred departed monarch was held at Oyinle High School Field along the Oba/Ikun-Akoko road, Oba-Akoko.
