Pursuant to the Women Affairs’ vision under my watch to promote local content and Nigerian made products, I received BuyNaija Project Management Team yesterday in my office.

The BuyNaija project is indeed a commendable initiative which strives to promote consciousness for the Nigerian brand and will provide a boost in our quest to improve on our comparative advantage within the global community.

The thrust of our discussion was centered on a possible areas of collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs with the aim of promoting locally made goods by Nigerian women which will be showcased globally to further enhance economic status of our women and the nation’s GDP.

I personally appreciate the team led by their CEO, Mr Iheanacho for their unrelenting drive with the BuyNaija project.
