Dr Dahiru Hammadikko National Coordinator /convener support Tinubu/Kashim takes notice and commend the peaceful and rancour free change of guard at the National Working Committee, NWC, of our great party, the APC, occasioned by the voluntary resignations of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as National Chairman, and Senator Iyiola Omisore as National Secretary.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Iyiola Omisore were elected into office in March, 2022 as Chairman and the National Secretary respectively and both distinguished senators served our party at its important juncture. They led other members of the NWC to conduct a peaceful presidential primary in April 2022, and also steered the APC to a deserved victory at the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

I also welcome on board, Senator Abubakar Kyari, Deputy Chairman APC North, who is now the Acting National Chairman; and Mr. Festus Fuanter, Deputy National Secretary who is now the Acting National Secretary. This upgrade in offices is done in line with the clear provisions of the APC Constitution.

I commend the NWC on this peaceful transition. It is an attestation to the APC character, history and culture of internal democracy, and its strict adherence to the rule of law.

Dr Hon Hammandikko congratulates the new leadership and pledge his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leader of the party, and am committed to continuing my good working relationship with the new leadership, Acting National Chairman, and Acting National Secretary, and others members of the NWC.
