Presidency reacts to Port-Harcourt Refinery news

 

President Bola Tinubu’s Special adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala has reacted to reports that the Port Harcourt refinery has commenced production.

 

Bwala said the commencement of production by the Port Harcourt refinery was an indication that Tinubu is fulfilling his promises in the energy sector.

Posting on X, Bwala wrote: “President @officialABAT is making good his promise in the energy sector with Port Harcourt refinery set to begin full operation. Thank you Mr President.”

On Tuesday, reports said the Port Harcourt refinery begun fuel production.

This development was confirmed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL.

Oluremi Soneye, the spokesman of the NNPCL, said the loading of trucks would start today.

“Port Harcourt Refinery begins production. Truck loading starts today, Tuesday,” Soneye said
