Premier League Unveils 15-Man Shortlist for 2025 Hall of Fame Induction
The Premier League has revealed its 15-man shortlist of legendary players in contention to be inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame.
The list features some of the league’s most iconic names across generations, from defensive stalwarts to creative playmakers and prolific strikers.
The Shortlist includes:
Sol Campbell, Michael Carrick, Jermain Defoe, Patrice Evra, Cesc Fàbregas, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler, Eden Hazard, Gary Neville, Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham, David Silva, Yaya Touré, Edwin van der Sar, and Nemanja Vidić
Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their choices, with the final inductees joining the league’s elite group of Hall of Fame members, a recognition reserved for those who left a lasting legacy on English football.
The Hall of Fame, established in 2021, already includes icons such as Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Didier Drogba, Sergio Agüero, and Frank Lampard, among others.
