Owo chief Imam, Alhaji Aladesawe confirmed D£ad
Ondo State has been thrown into mourning following the death of the Chief Imam of Owo and Chairman of the Ondo State League of Imams and Alfas, Sheikh Alhaji Ahmad Oladoke Aladesawe.
The highly respected cleric reportedly passed away on Monday evening at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.
Until his demise, Sheikh Aladesawe also served as the General Secretary of the League of Imams and Alfas in the Southwest, Edo, and Delta states.
A revered Islamic scholar and community leader, Aladesawe was widely admired for his contributions to the growth of Islam and peace-building efforts across Ondo State and beyond.
Sympathizers have described his passing as a huge loss to the Muslim community and the state at large.
Prayers have been offered for Allah (SWT) to grant his soul eternal rest in Aljana Fridaos.
