OSOPADEC Chair, Prince Poroye hails Hon. Kolawole Babatunde on his appointment as Special Adviser
The Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Prince Biyi Poroye, has congratulated the newly appointed officials in Ondo State, describing their selection as a reflection of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to inclusive governance and merit-based leadership.
While speaking with Newsmen , Prince Poroye particularly extolled Hon. Kolawole Babatunde Amaechi, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Legislative and Party Affairs, acknowledging him as “a former seasoned lawmaker, loyal party stalwart, and a bridge-builder whose experience will further strengthen the administration’s synergy with the legislature and the All Progressives Congress (APC) family.”
According to the OSOPADEC boss, Hon. Amaechi’s appointment is a testament to his unwavering dedication to public service and his years of impactful representation, both at the state and federal levels. Poroye noted that Amaechi’s political maturity and commitment to grassroots development make him a fitting point of reference among the governor’s new appointees.
“Hon. Kolawole Babatunde Amaechi represents the calibre of leadership our state needs – disciplined, loyal, and people-oriented. His inclusion in the team is both well-deserved and inspiring to many of us who believe in effective service delivery,” Poroye stated.
He further extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Razaq Obe, Hon. Gbenga Omole, Comrade Gani Mohammed, Samson Job Bazuaye, Mrs. Funke Ehuwa, Mrs. Olubunmi Adekunle and other newly appointed officials, urging them to see their appointments as a call to greater service. The OSOPADEC Chairman assured that the Commission would continue to collaborate with the state government to ensure that development projects in oil-producing communities align with the administration’s broader vision for sustainable progress.
Prince Poroye also lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for assembling a team of competent and credible individuals, expressing confidence that their combined efforts would help drive Ondo State toward more inclusive governance and accelerated development.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again demonstrated leadership foresight by choosing tested and trusted hands. I encourage all appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them through diligence, loyalty, and dedication to the good people of Ondo State,” he added.
Prince Poroye finally encouraged other party members and stakeholders whose appointments are yet to be made to stay hopeful and committed, assuring them that the appointment process remains a continuous exercise under Governor Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
