Ondo Youth and Community Leaders Endorse Bamidele Omosehin for 2027
In a landmark gathering that brought together youth leaders, community stakeholders, and grassroots mobilizers, the Coalition of Ondo Youth and Community Organizations (COYCO) has formally endorsed High Chief Bamidele Omosehin as their preferred candidate for the 2027 elections. The event, held in Okitipupa, witnessed widespread support for Omosehin, whose contributions to community development, youth empowerment, and philanthropy have earned him the admiration of the people of Ondo South Senatorial District.
Speaking at the endorsement event, the Convener and Executive Director of COYCO, Comrade Olafeso Oladipupo, emphasized that the coalition’s mission is to ensure that Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole benefit from visionary and people-oriented leadership. He noted that after extensive deliberations and consultations, Bamidele Omosehin emerged as the most credible and competent leader capable of representing the people of Ondo South at the national level.
“For years, COYCO has been at the forefront of championing good governance, political inclusion, and economic empowerment for the youth and communities of Ondo State. We have assessed various leaders and their contributions to our people, and High Chief Bamidele Omosehin stands out as a leader who truly embodies the spirit of selfless service and progress,” Comrade Oladipupo stated.
He further highlighted Omosehin’s long-standing commitment to community development, citing his Bamidele Omosehin Foundation and the Bamidele Omosehin Group, which have spearheaded various initiatives, including:
Educational Scholarships – Sponsoring students across Ondo South in their academic pursuits.
Youth Empowerment & Job Creation – Facilitating skills acquisition, business grants, and job placements for young people.
Community Infrastructure Development – Supporting local projects such as road construction, school renovations, and electrification programs.
Humanitarian & Social Welfare Initiatives – Providing support for widows, elderly citizens, and underprivileged families.
COYCO’s endorsement of Omosehin was not just a political statement but a call for all well-meaning individuals to unite behind a candidate whose track record demonstrates his capacity for transformative leadership.
