over the engagement of abandoned farm settlements that is receiving government attention recently.

In a joint communique issued on Sunday by some of the farmers leaders, Alh. Abdukabir Adinoyi and Mr. Akingbade Jayeola Francis, they appreciated the Governor for prioritising farming as an essential occupation in the State.

The farmers reiterated their unalloyed support for the aspiration of Governor Ayedatiwa in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

They also unanimously resolved to mobilize their members across the eighteen local government areas of the State to canvass and vote for the All Progressives Congress in the November 16th election.

The group also described the choice of Global Olabod Resources Limited by the Governor as a right step in the right direction. saying “Global Olabod Resources Limited is familiar with the activities of farmers and we are elated the Governor assigned the company to oversee the affairs of farmers in the Reserves ”

“Jugbere Farm settlement is a case study of many of the abandoned reserves that the new Government Consultant is engaging the farmers and giving the farmers hope of inclusive government ” the group added

It urged all the citizens and dwellers of Ondo State to mobilize and vote for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the coming election of the State.
