ONDO STATE @49 Prof Odimayo Felicitates His Excellency, Gov Aiyedatiwa, His Deputy Adelami & Our Founding Fathers

Prof Michael Simidele Odimayo, the immediate past Special Adviser on Health to Ondo State Governor has felicitated with His Excellency, Gov (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, his Deputy Dr Olaide Adelami and our founding fathers on the occasion of the state’s 49th year anniversary, and the significant milestone in the history of Ondo State.
“On this momentous occasion, I extend my warmest felicitations to His Excellency, Gov (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, His Deputy Dr Olaide Adelami.”
Accordingly, Prof M.S Odimayo, extolled Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to ensuring progress, appreciating his tireless efforts, sacrifices, and unending passion to uphold the foundations laid as we forge ahead.
He wished His Excellency, Gov (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa a Continuous success in his endeavors to move Ondo State forward, his commitment to maximizing the state’s potential for the benefit of all citizens, and prayed for strength and enablement as the Governor continues to pilot the affairs of the state.
Remembering the indelible legacies and commitment of our heroes past, to progress and tranquility, an essential drive for impactful governance, Odimayo paid tribute to the relentless efforts of our forefathers for their selflessness, which has inspired template for the development we are celebrating today.
“I pay homage and tribute to the visionary leaders who paved the way for our state’s growth and development. Their courage, foresight, and selflessness have been instrumental in shaping Ondo State into the thriving entity it is today.”
According to Prof Odimayo, Ondo State was carved out of the old Western Region, which was created on 3rd February, 1976 by the military administration of late Gen. Muritala Muhammed. Notwithstanding the transition of many of these heroes to the world beyond, their legacies, tracks and passion for a workable state continues to inspire future generation.
“As we celebrate this anniversary, we acknowledge the progress made so far in building a brighter future for all citizens of Ondo State. We are proud of our heritage and resilient spirit, which have enabled us to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.”
Moreover, Prof Odimayo congratulated all citizens of Ondo state. He said, as we look forward to our 50th anniversary next year, we are filled with hope and optimism for the future.
Once more, We congratulate all citizens of Ondo State as we celebrate this milestone, and continue to work together to build a better tomorrow.”
