Ondo 2024: PDP’s Agboola Ajayi Picks Rep Member As Running Mate

Ahead of the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo state, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Agboola Ajayi, has named the member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Honourable Festus Akingbaso as his running mate.
This was confirmed in a statement by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Peretei on Sunday.
The lawmaker is a former House of Assembly member who represented Idanre constituency.
This development comes ahead of the June 18, 2024 deadline for the substitution of names of candidates for the election as stipulated by the independent national electoral commission (INEC).
