Olubadan Assures Ibadan Indigenes in FCT, Abuja.

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Senator (Dr.) Lekan Balogun (CFR), Alli Okunmade II, met with the Council of Ibadan Indigenes Abuja (CIIA) FCT today, Saturday, January 27th, and commended them for being good Ambassadors of Ibadanland.

The Olubadan, represented by the Crown Prince, Aremo Femi Balogun, was warmly welcomed by the Council of Ibadan Indigenes Abuja (CIIA) at Zone 6, Abuja. He expressed his delight at the Achievements and activities of the Ibadan People in the Nation’s Capital.

He said: “I am proud of you all for representing Ibadan well in FCT. You have shown your Loyalty and Commitment to the Tinubu Administration; which is working hard to transform Nigeria into a Prosperous and Peaceful Country. You have also contributed to the Development and Welfare of Ibadanland, through your various Projects and Initiatives.”

The Olubadan urged the Council Members to continue to support and cooperate with the President, whom he described as a Visionary and Patriotic Leader. He also promised to support CIIA to enable them play more tangible roles in the Current Dispensation.

Continue in his Speech, he said: “I will do everything in my Power to assist you in your Endeavours. I will also liaise with the Current Administration to ensure that Ibadan indigenes in the FCT are given due recognition and Opportunities.
I want you to be part of the decision-making Process and the Implementation of Policies; that will benefit Ibadanland in particular and Nigeria as a whole.”

The President of Council Ibadan indigene Abuja FCT, Alh. AbdulGaniy Adigun, thanked the Olubadan for his visit and his Valuable, timely Words of Encouragement. He assured him that the Council Members would remain loyal and supportive of the Tinubu administration.

“We are grateful to you, Your Imperial Majesty, for honouring us with your Presence and your kind words. We are also grateful to President Tinubu for his Visionary Leadership and his love for Ibadanland and Nigeria. We will continue to work with him and his Team to achieve his Eight-point Agenda and make Nigeria a better place for all.”

The meeting ended with appreciation from Engr. Ezekiel Adesokan and a Banquet in honour of the Olubadan and his Entourage.
