OFFICIAL REPORT OF THE GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION FOR APC NATIONWIDE MEETING
HELD ON DECEMBER 1, 2025, AT CAPTAIN GARDEN, AREA 2, ABUJA
The Grassroots Mobilization for APC Nationwide held its general meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Captain Garden, opposite the shopping complex, Area 2, Abuja. The meeting began at 12:00 PM and adjourned at 2:15 PM with fifteen (15) members in attendance.
Opening Session
The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by Mr. Abdul Yahaya.
The Ogun State BOT member, Mr. Oguntayo, introduced himself and tendered an apology for missing previous meetings, citing distance as the constraint.
Opening Address
The National Coordinator, Alhaji Rabana, delivered an impactful opening speech emphasizing:
The need to strengthen credibility and structure within the movement.
The importance of delivering the states and maintaining a firm presence at the grassroots.
The mandate of members to champion the movement for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 agenda.
The role of the group as a strong interface between elected officials and the people.
He also reaffirmed that BOT members shall not hold any executive office and that all BOT members must be card-carrying APC members.
Secretaryship and Structural Adjustments
The National Coordinator briefed members on:
The deployment of the former National Secretary, with a replacement to be appointed from the same zone.
Engineer Adeola Anthony’s fulfillment of his promise, donating stationeries to the national secretariat.
The BOT approved the following structural changes:
Exchange of roles between the Secretary and Organizing Secretary.
Appointment of Mr. Eric Adele as the new National Secretary.
The former National Secretary to assume duties as the National Organizing Secretary.
Decisions and Resolutions
The following resolutions were reached:
1. The inauguration of the Deboin State Chapter will hold on December 5, 2025, with sponsorship from the state government.
2. Decisions made by the Board of Trustees cannot be revoked by any single individual.
3. The BOT shall determine the status, role, and future of every member, including Patrons.
4. A review meeting shall be held after each state inauguration.
5. All financial contributions or monetary items shall be remitted to the organization’s account.
6. Official correspondences and letters must be issued from the National Secretariat.
7. A directive from the APC support group requires all BOT members to possess valid APC membership cards.
Appointment of Acting BOT Chairman
Upon deliberation, the BOT unanimously endorsed the appointment of Engineer Adeola Anthony as the Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees, following concerns regarding the effectiveness of the former Chairman, Dr. Aliu.
Pledges and Support
The Acting BOT Chairman, Engineer Adeola Anthony, pledged ₦10,000 to support the organization. Other members present also made voluntary cash pledges to strengthen the movement.
