OBA-ILE WARD 9 OFFICIALLY DECLARES FOR GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA

The Oba-Ile Town Hall in Akure North Local Government of Ondo state on Saturday witnessed hundreds of party faithfuls who converged to declare their supports for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa ahead of the Ondo APC governorship primary election.

Addressing the people, the coordinator of Aiyedatiwa support group for Oba -lLE, Pastor Akingbesote Dayo James explained in details why Oba-Ile must be delivered for Governor Aiyedatiwa. According to him, within few days in office, Governor lucky has done a lot of work which qualifies him to seek another four year term. Pastor Akingbesote Dayo James extols the giant strides of Governor Aiyedatiwa since assuming office. Among such strides according to Akingbesote includes: recruitment of health workers, payment of salaries and gratuities, among others. He therefore appeal to the people to support and give Aiyedatiwa full support to continue as Ondo State Governor beyond 2025.

In her own remarks, the convener of Lucky Aiyedatiwa women forum, Princess Ayeola emphasized the need for the people of Oba-Ile, both young and old, to rally around support for Aiyedatiwa’s project. She explained that Governor Aiyedatiwa is prepared to roll out different programmes to alleviate poverty of the people of Ondo state. She said that Aiyedatiwa is poised to giving the women and business owners soft loans to aid their businesses. Infact chief yemisi Aladesaye who is the APC leader of ward 9 also pointed out some vital reasons why governor Aiyedatiwa must be supported comes April primary election and the general Election.

Also at the town hall meeting was the immediate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Ondo state, Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa. The ex-Commissioner who took the Lucky message to the ward said that every hand must be on deck to ensure that Oba-Ile ward delivers for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the April 2024 Ondo APC governorship primary. He also charged the people not to play opposition to the government this time around. The ex-Commissioner therefore called on the ward to put party interest first while he along other leaders work hand in hand to ensure that the APC in Oba-Ile never loses election again to opposition party. He also echoes the *SEED* agenda of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa administration which he said the people of the ward and other wards in Ondo State in general tends to benefit if they support the Governor to win the APC governorship primary scheduled for April, next month. Ologunloluwa added too that of all the aspirants jostling for the party’s ticket, only Governor Aiyedatiwa stands out as the best.

The leaders and party members in Oba-Ile unanimously agreed to work and support Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the April 2024 APC primary election.
