Nigerian prophet gifts all his church pastors and staff N3m cash, cars, other gifts to celebrate his birthday
A Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Taiwo Ojo, also known as Pato, has captured the hearts of many after gifting his pastors and church workers N3 million in cash, brand-new cars, and food items in celebration of his birthday.
The generous gesture, which took place at his church, CAC, Covenant of Mercy, Ibadan, has since gone viral online, with many praising the prophet for his compassion.
Speaking during the event, Prophet Taiwo revealed that he sold one of his lands just to show appreciation to his pastors and workers who have remained loyal and dedicated to the ministry’s growth.
In his words:
“People receive gifts on their birthdays, but I decided to give out gifts instead. I want people to remember my birthday as a day of impact and gratitude. This is my way of saying thank you to those who have stood by me in ministry.”
The prophet, known for his philanthropic nature, emphasized that true leadership comes from service and sacrifice, not just from the pulpit.
Videos from the event showed joyful church members and recipients dancing and celebrating their pastor’s generosity, with social media users calling him a true man of God who practices what he preaches.

Reacting to the video, a churchgoer said, He is not one of those who deceitfully extort his congregation. I have never heard him made a call for money, he always says Members will give voluntarily when their prayers are answered. PATO is different.”
Another one said, “He sold his land just to bless others, now that’s genuine love and selflessness. God bless Prophet Taiwo Ojo.”
Someone alsor said, “God Almighty bless you more abundantly Sir 🙏 PATO Happy beautiful prosperous birthday Sir 🎉🎊 Congratulations”
This came days after Pastor Tobi Adegboyega criticized Bishop Oyedepo and other pastors who build mega churches instead of investing in the welfare of church members.
