Nigerian Police Service Commission Schedules Promotion Exams For 596 SPs, 56 CSPs, Mandates Escorts
Officers are required to report to their respective commanders by 7:00 a.m. for briefing and onward conveyance to the venue.
The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the promotion examination and interactive session for Senior Police Officers (SPs) seeking elevation to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
According to an official wireless message issued by the Nigeria Police Force Secretary (NIGPOL FORSEC) on November 25, 2025, the session is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Parry Osayande Auditorium, PSC Corporate Headquarters, Plot 64, Cadastral Zone, Jabi, Abuja, starting at 8:00 a.m. prompt.
Officers are required to report to their respective commanders by 7:00 a.m. for briefing and onward conveyance to the venue.
The message directed that 596 SPs be warned and released to attend the exercise. Among those named are Bilikisu Shaibu, Ibironke Latifat Aremu, Fatima Yop Ayuba, Fati Alfa, Gimba Audu, Adeyinka Folarin Adeniran, Ibe Ngozi Perpetual, Abdulmalik Abubakar, Bolanle Lizzy Olorundare, Joe Babatunde Oloruleke, Abubakar Abdullahi Ibrahim, Sade Ajibola, Tyonongu Comfort Doosuur, Babangida Mohammed Nuhu, Dauda Yarima Haruna, Chika Sani, Grace Unwubiko, and Dauda Joseph.
Similarly, the PSC has also scheduled the promotion examination and interactive session for Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) seeking elevation to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
The exercise will hold on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Parry Osayande Auditorium, PSC Corporate Headquarters, Plot 64, Cadastral Zone, Jabi, Abuja.
The information was contained in an official wireless message dated November 25, 2025, with reference number CB.4001/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.T2/12, circulated to formations and units across the country.
According to the directive, the session is fixed for 8:00 a.m. prompt, and all invited officers are to report to their respective commanders by 7:00 a.m. for briefing and onward movement to the venue.

The PSC directed all participating officers, both SPs and CSPs, to refresh their knowledge of their core areas of duty, professional studies, and relevant laws, including local acts.
The dress code specified for the session is the conventional black jacket, beret, and swagger cane. Officers serving in tactical units are to appear in a black shirt over green denim with a beret.
The wireless message further instructed AIG MOPOL to provide 12 neatly turned-out armed personnel for escort duty on each of the days.
Transport and Logistics (TRANSFOR) are to deploy a serviceable vehicle for conveying senior officers to and from the venue while two serviceable Hilux vans are to be placed on standby at the Force Headquarters Parade Ground by 6:00 a.m. on each day for escort operations.
The directive, originating from the Nigeria Police Force Secretary (NIGPOL FORSEC), emphasised that the instructions should be treated as “Very Important” and executed with immediate effect.
