NATIONAL APC CHAIRMAN PROF. NENTAWE YILWATDA STORMS JOS WITH SIX STATE GOVERNORS.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Professor Nentawe Yilwatda this morning undertook his first visit outside Abuja, the Party’s headquarters.
The National Chairman in company of six State Governors,some Senators and members of the National Assembly touched the Yakubu Gowon Airport around after 1 pm this morning on board a private airline.
Professor Yilwatda was received on arrival by the Plateau State chairman of the APC,Rt.Hon.Rufus Bature,members of the Working Committee and Elders Council and State House of Assembly led by the Speaker Daniel Naanlong.
Though it was a private visit, hundreds of Party faithful and members of public thronged the airport as early as 8 am to have glimpse of Professor Nentawe who came with the full paraphernalia of office of the National Chairman of the ruling Party.
The National Chairman after the Airport ceremony drove straight to meet the members of the State traditional Council for a private engagement.
Afterwards, he is also expected to meet with the Christian and Moslem religious leaders.
The National Chairman is expected back in Abuja later in the day.
