If you are a human being, then you are either a leader, or you are a follower.
That is because, all human beings are divided into only two categories, leaders and followers.
The reason why there is so much trouble and chaos in the world is because, people who are supposed to be left as followers are being made leaders.
Having a political position and political power doesn’t make you a leader.
And being made the boss in the office doesn’t make you a leader.
So, are you a leader?
By the time you are through with reading this piece, you will know if you are a leader or not.
But what does it mean to be a leader?
Being a leader is simply being that person who makes a positive difference and impact in other people’s lives.
It may be by educating them, or by fighting for their rights, or by bettering their living conditions.
You can be a leader too, and that is if you will commit yourself to making other people’s lives better.
You see, you are not a leader if you can’t point out people whose lives you made better at some point in time.
If no human being’s life is better because of the impact you made in their life, you are not yet qualified to be called a leader.
When you start making positive impact on people’s lives, and bringing transformation into their lives, to better them, you are now qualified to be called a leader.
An example of leadership is Nelson Mandela.
He fought for the rights of his people, gaining freedom for them in that process.
Also, people like Martin Luther King Junior and Mahatma Gandhi also fought for the rights of their people.
Another example is Mother Theresa. She took in young kids, who would not have had a life outside her, and made them live and develop to become good people in life.
Another, is Abraham Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln brought many good ideas and impact to America, one of it being the freezing of slaves.
These are people who have made a positive difference in the world by making a positive difference in the lives of many people.
You can be a leader too, and that is if you will learn to make a positive difference and impact in people’s lives, and bring transformation to their lives.
