Following the celebrated decisions of the supreme Court Judgements delivered in Appeal nos : CA/ABJ/CV/1217/2024 and Suit nos : FHC/ABJ/CS/1271/2024 where the court lambasted the two lower court for acting in excess of their jurisdiction when despite rightly upholding that the subjects of matter in the two suits bordered on the leadership of a Political party which is not justiciable and outside the jurisdiction of courts and consequently set aside all pronouncements with respect to the mention and affirmation of Julius Abure as National Chairman of our party
Following the dismissal of the cross appeal filed by the ousted former National Chairman Bar Julius Abure also by the supreme Court on April 4th 2025 , what this means that all actions and decisions taking by Julius Abure since April 4th 2023 is null and void
Following the decision of the supreme Court on setting aside all judgement that recognizes the leadership of Julius Abure as National Chairman, I ALH BASHIRU LAMIDI APAPA, the Most Senior Deputy National and in consonance with our party Constitution Article 14 2(a)(b) hereby takes over the running of the affairs of our great party with effect from today Wednesday the 9th day of April 2025 in acting capacity and Alh Farouk Umar Ibrahim as National Secretary
Following the same decision of the supreme Court , Mr Alex otti who betrayed the party through anti party activities during the Abia state Local Government Elections where all the seat were won by ZENITH LABOUR PARTY can not claimed to want to save our party now
In the last General election, Mr Joe Ajaero NLC did not support any LABOUR PARTY Governorship candidates but rather offers their support to other political parties
My leadership here by called on all constititional members of Labour party that the National Working Committee of our party as at 2022 will meet next week Monday 14th April 2025 to announce our plans which will include zoning the position of National Chairman to the North and National Secretary to the South
My leadership will also take proactive steps to resuscitate the moribund BOARD OF TRUSTEE and makes it functional
The National Working Committee members listed below are hereby put on notice about the NWC meeting coming up on Monday next week where we will immediately set in motion the conduct of Ward Congresses, Local Government Congresses , State Congresses and National Convention where every members of our party shall have tje right to participate provided you are a financial member

I also want to state clearly that our new administration shall conduct a new National Convention within 6 months to usher in a new National Chairman from the North and National Secretary from the South .
The threats of violent takes over of all Labour party offices from the Nigeria Labour Congress president Mr Joe Ajaero is a threat to democracy and must be withdrawn with immediate effects as no one has monopoly of violence
Any attempt by Joe Ajaero to use force shall have a Dire consequences including arrest by the police to face treasonable felony
