Kogi NYCN Congratulates Gov Ododo On One Year In Office

Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale on Saturday in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital, hailed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unique leadership style and developmental strides in the state.

The Youth Chairman said Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s tenure demonstrates the power of a clear vision combined with actionable plans.

He maintained that the governor has kept faith with his inauguration’s address of January 27, 2025, quoting the governor as stating that his administration is going to engage young people in governance.

Comr. Benjamin further commended governor Usman Ododo for his initiation of various developmental programs that have had a positive impact on the youth and women of the state, specifically citing bursary payments to students, the free education policy and payments of WASSCE fee in the state, promotion arrears to civil servants, and the recruitment of young people into the state civil service.

He said, “On behalf of the youths in Kogi State, I congratulate our workaholic governor for his inclusive governance approach, and the opportunity his administration has created for young people in our dear state.”

“We look forward to seeing the continued progress and development of our dear state under your leadership Your Excellency.”

Comr. Benjamin prayed God bless Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo with long life and good health to deliver more good governance to the people of Kogi State.
