JUST IN: ADC expels top Chieftain, directs leadership to fill vacant positions
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has confirmed the expulsion of Hon. Leke Abejide from the party over multiple acts of indiscipline.
Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, made the announcement on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC) after a meeting at the ADC National Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
The expulsion follows a recommendation from the Kogi State Executive Committee, which found Abejide’s conduct to be incompatible with the party’s principles and rules.
The ADC emphasized that it will not tolerate misconduct by any of its members as it continues to strengthen a culture of discipline, integrity, and good character within the party.
The party further directed its Kogi State leadership to fill all vacant positions at the ward, local government, and state levels in line with previously issued transition guidelines. Timelines for the upcoming congresses will be announced in due course
