“IRUN MODEL CLUB Honors Akoko North West Local Government Chairman, Hon. Owolabi Esan, in Grand Reception”
On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Irun Model Club (IMC) held a grand reception in honor of Hon. Owolabi Esan, Chairman of Akoko North West Local Government, at Jolly Bar & Lounge in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State. The event, attended by esteemed club members, dignitaries, and special guests, began at 2 pm.
The reception started with a warm welcome address by the Club President, Model Oladimeji Olukayode Ojo, followed by a standing ovation for the chairman. Heartfelt testimonials and speeches highlighted the chairman’s exceptional leadership, dedication, and contributions to the club.
Hon. Owolabi Esan was presented with a commemorative award, recognizing his outstanding service. In response, he expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Ayedatiwa, and the Minister of Interior for their support. He thanked the club for their unwavering support and promised to continue working tirelessly to positively impact the lives of the people.
The chairman highlighted his achievements, including providing solar lights across the ten wards, constructing bridges, and facilitating employment opportunities. He pledged to build on these successes and continue serving the community.
