Honourable Minister Set to Officially Flag Off the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based
Violence 2024 Campaign
The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim fsi CIPD MSPSP FDMSS f.hcd fpi FNPA is
set to officially flag off the 16 Days of Activism 2024 campaign, reaffirming the Ministry’s leadership in the fight to eliminate violence against women and girls.
With over 27,000 cases of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence recorded across six states from 2020 to 2023, the Honourable Minister emphasises the urgency of this campaign.
This year’s theme, UNITE! Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls, calls for collective action to support survivors and create a society where every woman and girl can live in safety and dignity.
