Hon.Segun Olukoju Applauds Governor Aiyedatiwa Minimum Wage Approval, Declares for Akoko South West APC Chairmanship

 

Hon Segun Olukoju Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa’s approval of a new minimum wage for civil servants.

 

During a closed-door meeting held in his hometown of Oka, Akoko South West Local Government Area where he gave the commendation, Hon.segun Olukoju met with APC local government leaders from Akoko South West to rally support for the party and preach unity ahead of upcoming elections.

 

The meeting, which was attended by leaders across Akoko South west, was aimed at consolidating support for the APC and fostering cooperation among party members.

Hon.Segun Olukoju, who played a prominent role in the last presidential election, called on the leaders to work together in ensuring the party’s success at all levels, emphasizing the importance of unity as a key factor in driving Ondo development forward.

 

In his remarks, Hon, Segun Olukoju commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s for his proactive approach to improving the welfare of Ondo State’s civil servants through the approval of a N73,000 minimum wage. He highlighted this gesture as a testament to the governor’s commitment to the well-being of workers amidst the country’s ongoing economic challenges.

 

The approval of the minimum wage, marks a historic increase in the state’s wage structure and reflects the administration’s focus on easing the economic pressures faced by workers.

 

The decision has been widely applauded across the state, with many viewing it as a necessary step toward improving the livelihood of government workers and stabilizing the state’s economy.
