HON. OLUBOYO IS A POLITICAL DETRACTOR.
It is rather unfortunate and disappointing that former Deputy Governor Oluboyo has chosen the path of bitterness and cheap blackmail in his recent attack on the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Nigerians, and indeed the good people of Ondo State and the entire youths of Akoko are not blind to the sterling leadership qualities, transformational policies, and people-oriented reforms that BTO has brought into national governance.
Unlike the days of wasted opportunities under some leaders, Hon. Tunji-Ojo has distinguished himself as a reformer, a bridge-builder, and a servant-leader whose impact is visible not just in his constituency but across Nigeria. From cleaning up the corrupt passport issuance system, to strengthening internal security architecture, to repositioning institutions under his ministry, his performance speaks louder than the empty noise of political detractors.
It is laughable that someone like Oluboyo, whose era in leadership is remembered more for mediocrity and retrogression than progress, now attempts to question the credibility and capacity of a man who is daily winning the admiration of Nigerians through results. Leadership is about service, not empty rhetoric. It is about vision, impact, and integrity qualities that Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo embodies in abundance.
We therefore urge well-meaning citizens to disregard the baseless utterances of the former Deputy governor, who seems pained by the rising profile of a young, competent, and resourceful leader. The future belongs to leaders like BTO who deliver, not politicians whose relevance is sustained only by throwing stones at achievers.
History will remember men by the legacies they leave, not by their envy-driven outbursts. Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is already writing his name in gold, while some are busy scratching irrelevantly on the walls of public opinion.
Oluboyo is not worthy to be our party Chairman in Ondo State because he lack leadership methodology and character of bring people together.
On this note, the Okeagbe Elite Youth association and Akoko Youths as a whole request a public apology from Hon. Oluboyo, esle we will be forced to read out several setback he has caused to our political party in Akoko and all BTO has done to support him when he was financially down.
Signed:
Okeagbe Elite Youth Association.
