Hon. Kolawole Babatunde Hails Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Supreme Court Triumph
I, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, FCIPA, ALBS, extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State, on securing the final legal victory today at the Supreme Court, Abuja, over the November 16, 2024 Governorship Election in Ondo State.
The withdrawal and subsequent dismissal of the case instituted by Hon. Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has once again affirmed the overwhelming mandate freely given to you by the good people of Ondo State. It is noteworthy that the PDP candidate had earlier lost at both the Ondo State Governorship Election Tribunal and the Court of Appeal, where his petitions were dismissed for lacking in merit.
With this judicial hurdle now permanently cleared, Your Excellency is free of all unnecessary distractions and can channel greater focus on the diligent implementation of the Our Ease Agenda, to which you have demonstrated remarkable commitment for the peace, progress, and overall development of the Sunshine State.
May the Almighty God continue to grant you wisdom, strength, and grace as you lead Ondo State to greater heights.
