As the adage goes, “a father is a pillar to his family.” On this Father’s Day, *Hon. Engr. Henry Baro,* the Uvwie-born politician and engineer, extends warm wishes to all responsible and hardworking fathers. As the Asiwaju of Uvwie Kingdom and Director, Corporate Services at Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), Hon. Baro emphasizes the importance of paternal care.
“A tree is known by its fruit,” and Hon. Baro’s message is clear: fathers play a vital role in shaping the future of their children. He advises men to “strike while the iron is hot” – to invest time, love, and resources in their families while they can. As the saying goes, “when the well is dry, we know the worth of water”; similarly, when fathers are no longer able, they will reap the benefits of the investments they made in their families.
Hon. Baro’s message is rooted in the wisdom that “children are the anchors that hold a mother’s heart”; equally, they are the pillars that support a father’s legacy. He urges fathers to take good care of their families, knowing that “actions speak louder than words.” By doing so, they will reap the rewards of a loving and supportive family in their old age.
As the Bible says, “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Hon. Baro’s message is a reminder that responsible fatherhood is crucial in shaping the next generation.
To all fathers, Hon. Baro wishes God’s protection, blessings, and support. May your families be a source of joy and strength to you, and may you always find fulfillment in your roles as fathers.
*NIGERIANS, BOMARUFE!*
*HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!*
