By: Amb. Eki David Greg, MKO (08100247710)

In the tradition of the ancient Yoruba proverb, *”A ki í se ọmọ ogun lójú ọmọ ogun,”* which translates to *”A warrior is not born in the midst of war,”* Hon. Engr. Henry Baro is a shining exception. Born and bred in Uvwie, with streets credibility that transcends borders, Hon. Baro has proven himself to be a true leader of the people.

*A MAN OF THE PEOPLE*

Like the biblical David, who was chosen by God to lead the people of Israel, Hon. Baro has been chosen by the people of *Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie* to represent their interests. His commitment to the welfare of his constituents is unwavering, and his reputation as a man of the people is well-deserved.

*A LEADER WITH A HEART*

The proverb *”A tree is known by its fruit”* aptly describes Hon. Baro’s leadership style. His actions are guided by a deep sense of compassion and a willingness to serve. Like a tree that provides shade and shelter, Hon. Baro’s leadership has brought hope and relief to many.

*A BRIDGE BUILDER*

In the words of the ancient African proverb, *”When elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers,”* Hon. Baro has consistently worked to build bridges and promote unity among the people. His leadership has been a beacon of hope in a world where division and strife often seem insurmountable.

*A SHINING EXAMPLE*

*Hon. Engr. Henry Baro’s* leadership is a shining example of what it means to serve with integrity and compassion. Like a lighthouse that guides ships safely to shore, Hon. Baro’s leadership has guided his people through turbulent times. Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie are indeed proud to have him as their own.
