HON. BANKOLE MOHAMMED’S END-OF-YEAR PALLIATIVE FOR THE AGED AND WIDOWS
On the 27th of December 2024, Hon. Bankole Mohammed, the founder of Bankycare Foundation, held his annual end-of-year palliative program for the aged and widows in Akoko North West Local Government. The event, hosted in his hometown, Ogbagi Akoko, witnessed the distribution of various food items and cash gifts to bring joy and relief to the beneficiaries during the festive season.
Among the recipients of this thoughtful initiative were women leaders from the ten wards across the local government, who were recognized and supported as part of the program.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Owa of Ogbagi, APC leader Alhaji Oloruntoba, SSA to Mr. Governor, Hon. Azeez Awe, and Mrs. Bello Eunice, the vice chairmanship candidate for the upcoming local government elections,Apc Councillorship candidateforward6. Party ward chairmen, representatives of the YTO Movement, and the BTO Women Wing also showed their solidarity by attending the event.
In his remarks, Hon. Bankole praised the exemplary leadership and contributions of the Hon. Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to the people of Ondo State, while also expressing gratitude to Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, his direct boss, for consistently prioritizing the welfare of constituents. He emphasized that the palliative program has been a longstanding tradition of Bankycare Foundation and assured the audience of even greater improvements in subsequent editions.
In conclusion, Hon. Bankole urged all members of the local government to turn out en masse to Vote APC in the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for the 18th of January, 2025.
The program not only reinforced Hon. Bankole’s commitment to community development but also highlighted his unwavering dedication to supporting the vulnerable in society.
