Hon. Aminu Suleiman Enrols 200 Underprivileged Students from Kebbi into Free NCE Programme
Juju, Kebbi State — In a move aimed at improving access to higher education and tackling teacher shortages, the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), Hon. Aminu Suleiman, has sponsored 200 underprivileged students from Juju Community in Kebbi State into a free National Certificate in Education (NCE) programme.
Hon. Suleiman, who also serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Keana, Nasarawa State, and a Board Member of the North West Development Commission, facilitated the initiative to support children from low-income families who otherwise might not have the opportunity to further their studies.
Breaking Barriers to Education
The scholarship package covers tuition fees, registration, examination costs, and study materials. Beneficiaries will also receive mentorship and guidance throughout the programme, while transport stipends will be provided during their teaching practice to ensure participation.
According to organisers, priority was given to orphans, widows’ children, and students from financially disadvantaged homes. The beneficiaries were selected through a community-based process to guarantee fairness and transparency.

Traditional and community leaders in Juju welcomed the development, describing it as a life-changing opportunity for many households. They expressed optimism that the programme would not only uplift families but also contribute to addressing the shortage of trained teachers in rural schools.
