Himma Youth Farmers Association Pays Courtesy Visit to Alternative Bank Headquarters in Abuja

Abuja – In a strategic move to foster financial collaboration and expand access to banking services for its members, the Himma Youth Farmers Association of Nigeria (HYFAN) paid a courtesy visit to the Abuja headquarters of The Alternative Bank.

The visit was warmly received by top officials of the bank, including Maryam Mohammed, Head of Business Banking, and Maimuna, Product Manager. Both expressed enthusiasm about potential areas of partnership with HYFAN, especially in advancing sustainable agricultural financing through ethical banking models.

Leading the HYFAN delegation was the National President, Ahmed Yusuf, accompanied by Vice President, Engr. Anthony Oladejo, National Organizing Secretary, AbdulHamid Ahmad, and Operations Manager, Ruffie Atimah. Also present were Hajiya Khadija Musa, the National Woman Leader; Adegoke Yinka Adebayo, South West Coordinator; and Sunday Moses, Kogi State Coordinator.

The meeting centered on exploring inclusive financial solutions tailored for young farmers, improving access to agricultural inputs, and creating pathways for rural economic empowerment. Both parties agreed to continue dialogue toward formalizing partnership structures in the near future.
