HIMMA YOUTH FARMERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA PARTNERS WITH MOURE CONSULT LTD, EMPEROR INTEGRATED FARMS & MFB COMMERCIAL COMPANY LTD ON AGRICULTURAL INPUTS AND TRAINING
The Himma Youth Farmers Association of Nigeria (HYFAN) has entered into a strategic partnership with Moure Consult Limited, Emperor Integrated Farms, and MFB Commercial Company Limited to strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural value chain through the provision of high-quality inputs and specialized training for youth farmers.
Boosting Access to Modern Farming Tools
The partnership is designed to empower young farmers with access to modern farming technologies, improved seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs that have often remained out of reach for smallholder farmers. Beyond the supply of inputs, the initiative also focuses on capacity building, equipping farmers with practical skills for improved productivity and sustainability.
Training for Sustainable Agriculture
Through structured training sessions, farmers will be exposed to agribusiness development, modern cultivation methods, and sustainable farming practices that align with global best standards. This, the partners believe, will bridge knowledge gaps while encouraging innovation among Nigerian youth farmers.
Shared Commitment to Growth
Speaking at the unveiling of the collaboration, representatives of the partner organizations expressed optimism that the initiative would not only boost food production but also create employment opportunities, strengthen rural economies, and enhance national food security.
They emphasized that youth farmers represent a vital force in Nigeria’s agricultural future, and investing in their growth is key to achieving long-term development goals in the sector.
HYFAN President Applauds Partnership
The President of HYFAN described the agreement as a timely intervention to address the challenges that young farmers face, including limited access to resources, inadequate training, and poor market opportunities.
“With the support of these reputable organizations, our members are better positioned to overcome obstacles and build sustainable careers in agriculture. This collaboration is a bold step toward transforming youth participation in farming into a profitable and enduring venture,” he stated.
Toward Self-Sufficiency
This groundbreaking partnership reflects a shared vision of food security and agricultural transformation in Nigeria. By combining access to modern inputs with hands-on training, HYFAN and its partners are setting the stage for a new generation of empowered, innovative, and self-reliant farmers capable of driving Nigeria toward self-sufficiency in food production.
