Governor Seyi Makinde honours father 12 years after death

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Sunday commemorated the 12th anniversary of the death of his father, Pa Olatubosun Makinde.

Makinde made this known on his social media handles on Sunday.

He said his late father’s legacy of unwavering dedication, selfless service, and unrelenting love continues to inspire his family and all those whose lives he touched.

Sharing photos, Makinde wrote, “Always in our hearts – Pa Olatubosun Makinde. Today, we remember our beloved father who passed 12 years ago. We miss you dearly, dad but we are comforted by the knowledge that you are in the bosom of the Almighty.

“We will continue to cherish the memories we shared and ensure that your legacy of love, hard work and service to humanity lives on.”
