Governor Recruits 550 Amotekun Operatives to Boost Security
The Ogun State government has recruited 550 new Amotekun Corps operatives to enhance local security.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, represented by his deputy at the passing-out parade, said the move underscores his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
The Amotekun Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Alade Adedigba (rtd.), praised the government’s support and called for more logistics to match the expanded force.
He urged the new officers to uphold professionalism and strengthen community safety across the state.
