Give you 2 weeks to come to your senses or else I’ll strike” – Trump to Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern ultimatum to Iran, warning that the country has no more than two weeks to avert potential U.S. airstrikes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Trump said a decision could even come earlier than the two-week timeframe he hinted at in a previous statement.

I’m giving them a period of time, and I would say two weeks would be the maximum,” Trump said, emphasizing that the clock is ticking for Iranian leaders. “The goal is to see whether or not people come to their senses,” he added.

The remarks come a day after Trump stated he would determine “within the next two weeks” whether or not to authorize military action against Iran.

At the time, he suggested there was a “substantial chance of negotiations,” giving hope to diplomatic channels.

However, Trump’s latest comments cast doubt on the effectiveness of ongoing diplomatic efforts, especially those led by European countries.

He openly dismissed the meeting between Iran’s Foreign Minister and representatives from Britain, France, Germany, and the EU in Geneva on Friday, indicating little faith in European-led peace initiatives.

“I’m not inclined to stop Israel. They’re winning,” Trump said, showing support for Israel’s continued military campaign against Iran, which has intensified over the past week.

The president’s tone suggests he is leaning toward military action if Iran fails to show progress, particularly regarding its nuclear activities.

Tensions in the region have soared following Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian targets and Iran’s retaliatory missile launches.

The conflict has sparked global concern and raised fears of a broader war.

European leaders have called for calm and have been engaging in urgent talks aimed at de-escalation. But Trump’s stance appears to sideline these efforts
