F!re guts six offices at police headquarters
A fire, whose source could not be ascertained, on Saturday morning, gutted six offices at the headquarters of the Sokoto State Police Command

Confirming the incident to our correspondent on the telephone, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Rufai, said the fire affected the administrative department.

The incident affected about six offices at the administrative block. The fire service later put out the fire.
“We couldn’t ascertain the level of destruction, as it falls on the weekend,” he said.
In February 2024, the Kano State Police Command reported that fire engulfed the Divisional Police Office in Nasarawa Local Government Area.
