Abiodun Essiet, recently appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), she had a remarkable career in public service, demonstrating unwavering dedication to community development and engagement. Before this prestigious appointment, Abiodun served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Honorable Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), where he was responsible for ICT, civil societies, and donor agencies.

In her previous role, Abiodun was instrumental in driving numerous initiatives that strengthened the relationship between the government and various community stakeholders.

Her efforts in leveraging on ICT to brought empowerment to youth and women in AMAC.
She also use ICT for communication and collaboration between civil societies and government bodies were particularly noteworthy. This, coupled with her adeptness at engaging donor agencies, which led to several successful projects that significantly improved the quality of life for residents in the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

Her work in AMAC earned him widespread recognition for her ability to bridge gaps between the government and the people, fostering a sense of trust and cooperation. It is this proven track record of effective community engagement that has not gone unnoticed and has led to her appointment by President Bola Tinubu as the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement for the North Central region.
