“Fellow Nigerians,

As we celebrate our 64th Independence Day, I extend warm greetings to you all. Today, we reflect on our nation’s remarkable journey, acknowledging the struggles and sacrifices that have shaped our collective identity.

_Unity: Our Greatest Strength_

In the face of diversity, we find strength in our unity. Let us continue to foster a spirit of togetherness, understanding, and mutual respect. We must bridge the gaps that divide us and build bridges of cooperation, tolerance, and peace.

_Development: Our Shared Aspiration_

As we strive for progress, let us prioritize:

– _Economic Growth_: Empowering entrepreneurs, innovators, and small-scale farmers.
– _Education and Innovation_: Equipping our youth with skills for the future.
– _Infrastructure Development_: Enhancing connectivity, energy, and water supply.

_Call to Action_

As we celebrate our independence, I urge:

– Leaders to prioritize the welfare and well-being of citizens.
– Citizens to engage actively in nation-building.
– Youths to harness their potential and drive positive change.

Let us work together to build a Nigeria where:

– Every voice is heard.
– Every child has access to quality education.
– Every citizen has opportunities to thrive.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Long live our unity and resilience!

Sincerely,

His Royal Highness Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya OON, FICEN, CP(Rtd)
Emir of Potiskum, Yobe State”
