Familiarization Tour: Ondo State Local Government Service Commission Engages with Akoko South East Local Government Staffs.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Chairman and members of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission undertook a familiarization tour to Akoko South East Local Government, as part of their efforts to interact with career staff and gather feedback on the operations of local governments in the state.
The delegation, led by the Head of Administration, Local Government Service Commission and Boards, was warmly received by Hon. Engr. Ayegbo Omolehin Jude, the Executive Chairman of Akoko South East Local Government. In his welcome address, Engr. Ayegbo expressed his deep appreciation to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for promptly inaugurating the elected members at the grassroots level after the successful conduct of local government elections.
Engr. Ayegbo also acknowledged the numerous robust welfare packages provided by the Local Government Service Commission since he assumed office. He praised the Commission for its commitment to improving the welfare of local government staff and enhancing the overall performance of local governments in the state.
Addressing the local government staff, the Head of the delegation, Hon. Femi Idris explained that the purpose of the familiarization tour was to interact with career staff, gather feedback, and identify areas where the Commission could provide support to enhance the operations of local governments.
