Ex-Governor Media Aide Arrested by Amotekun Corps
Olaore Taiwo, a former media aide to ex-Governor Gboyega Oyetola, was reportedly arrested late Wednesday night by operatives of the Osun Amotekun Corps.
The incident occurred around 10:05 p.m. at his residence in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area. Eyewitnesses alleged that Taiwo was assaulted with charms during the arrest before being whisked away to an undisclosed location.
The reasons behind the arrest remain unclear as of the time of filing this report, raising serious concerns among his associates and human rights observers.
Calls are being made to the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to intervene and ensure his safety.
